Brittney Stowell
Brittney has a strong interest in helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. While she has a special passion for working with kids, teenagers, and youth athletes, she also enjoys helping adults build resilience, emotional regulation, and develop healthy coping skills through all stages of life. Brittney works with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem concerns, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and performance pressure, helping clients strengthen both their mental well-being and overall confidence in themselves. Her approach is compassionate, supportive, and individualized, with a focus on helping each person feel understood, empowered, and capable of handling life’s challenges both in everyday life and in performance-focused environments such as athletics, academics, careers, and personal relationships.
Brittney is currently attending the University of Kentucky, working towards her Master's in Social work and has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Brittney values spending time with her family and friends and she can usually be found on the sidelines or in the stands cheering her kids on. She has a deep love for the ocean, mountains, and sunsets as she finds them both grounding and healing. Dogs are her spirit animal. She believes that maintaining balance and connection outside of daily responsibilities is essential.
Brittney is trained in DBT.

Yes! We offer telehealth sessions over google meets. Your clinician will send the link either right on the hour or a few minutes after. We would need to know beforehand so reach out to our front office to let them know that you would like your session done as a telehealth. Please note that your insurance may have a different copayment or may not even cover telehealth so we ask that you call your insurance beforehand as well to verify your telehealth coverage.
-
We require a 24 hour cancellation notice. You are welcome to call our office to cancel, but if we are unable to answer we require the notice to be written whether as a voicemail, text, or email. For sessions on Mondays we require the cancellation notice before the prior Friday at 4:59pm. Our therapist's time is just as valuable and because of this we have a $100/cancellation fee if your session is not canceled 24 hours in advance.
